What You Can Do with a Barstool

Very few people get creative with their furniture. When it comes to a couch, they treat it like a couch. It works as a great place to sit and take a nap, but they do very little else with it. A barstool, on the other hand, opens up quite a few more possibilities! Most people will only see the barstool as a seat on which they can eat nachos and watch the Sunday night football game. Barstools come in many different forms. You can have a great barstool that just has a back, or one that has a back, armrests, and a footrest. The most diverse type of barstool, however, is the backless swivel barstool. It works well as a seat at a kitchen counter or an outdoor patio bar, but it can also be so much more! If you are someone who has an extra backless barstool sitting around, it is time to put it to good use! Here are some great extra barstool use ideas.

1) A potted plant holder. Would not it be nice to have some more green in your living room, dining room, or kitchen? This convenient plant holder is small enough to hide away in a corner or sit near a window so that the plant itself is the centerpiece. If your barstool can swivel, you are even better off because then you can rotate the plant so that all the leaves can enjoy the sunlight.

2) A miniature side table. Throw a doily or a small tablecloth over it and place it next to a chair or the couch in your living room.  Ideally, this backless barstool will not swivel because people might place their drinks on it and these could go flying if someone touched the edge of the stool.

3) As the base for an artist's easel. Simply attach a wooden board behind it and you have a great place on which to place your canvas so that you can create a masterpiece!

If you do not have a spare barstool sitting around the house, you should check out the great selection of barstools and counter stools on premierebarstools.com! You will love the prices and, if your order four or more, you will receive free shipping on your order!
