Chairs do not get the respect they deserve. We rely on them every second of every day to support us as we eat our meals, watch television, type away at our computers, and drive our cars. Where would our mothers have rocked us to sleep when we were young if we did not have our grandparent's rocking chair? What would life be without our super duper recliner chair with the cup holders so that we can watch our favorite shows in absolute comfort? We do, however, usually treat this deluxe recliner and our grandparent's old-fashioned rocking chair a little better than we do our counter height bar stools.
What are barstools anyway? Do you even notice their presence most of the time? If you are one of the many families that has a convenient kitchen island or a counter bar that separates the kitchen from another room, I am sure that you have some counter height bar stools in your home. These stools can be everything from a very simple backless seat with four supporting legs, to an elaborate design with arms, a back, and foot rests. Other families try to have fun with their counter height bar stools and purchase ones that remind them of the ones they would sit on at the soda shop counters they would frequent when they were kids. These retro-style diner stools are always great; remember the ones with the shiny chrome supports and the red vinyl seat covers? The best part was that they were always swivel stools!
Counter height bar stools are about 30 to 31 inches high. You want to leave at least ten inches between the height of the stools and the bottom of the table so that someone can sit there comfortably. If you have a much higher counter, however, you need to look into extra tall barstools. There are so many fantastic barstool designs out there that it is so easy to find counter height bar stools that you respect and appreciate! These barstools do just as much work as your recliner and your rocking chair, but they get more abuse in the long run. It is time to start taking better care of these hard-working counter height stools of yours! If your current set, however, has seen better days, then you can find a new set on premierebarstools.com! |
