How to Throw a Fiesta with Outdoor Patio Bar Stools

It is party time! A fiesta, the Spanish word for a celebration or party, does not only need to be thrown on Cinco de Mayo; it can be thrown for any occasion. Whether it is a friend's birthday or just a large family get together, a fiesta- themed celebration with home pub furniture and great food will prove to be very fun. The preparation is simple but the payoff is great. There are a few things you need to get in order before the big day though. Just follow these simple steps and you will be set!

1) Pick a location. Ideally, if you are hosting the party, it will be at your home. Fiestas are best held outside so you need a large backyard or spacious patio. If you do not have these things, try to find someone who does. Make sure that they know you will do all the preparation and clean-up!

2) Decorations. In order to throw a great party, you need good decorations. There should be plenty of tables and outdoor patio bar stools set up so that your guests have a place to sit down and eat. A great centerpiece is always a great touch; I would suggest colorful flowers. Solid color tablecloths, usually red, yellow, or orange, brighten up the space and it is a good idea to hang paper cutout banners. They are not expensive and really add to the festive ambiance.

3) Food. This item is the most important part! A true fiesta would mean that you had Mexican food for your guests. Chips, salsa, and guacamole are always easy to do, as are tacos or fajitas. Just have a wide selection of ingredients such as chicken and beef, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers, rice, and beans and you have yourself a delicious meal!

4) Entertainment.  Music is essential and so is a piñata! This game is always fun. You simply fill up a decorated cardboard animal with lots of candy and all the guests take turns hitting it until it opens. When the candy spills out over the floor, everyone scrambles to get as many pieces as they can!

Throwing a fiesta is simple: grab a few outdoor patio bar stools, cook up some good food, and purchase some candy. Your guests will have a wonderful time no matter the occasion!
